Murari is a seasoned IT & Information Risk Management professional with over 14 years experience in Information Security Management, Business Continuity Management and, Outsourcing & Supplier Management.

He is currently Global Head of Service Architecture & Integration for British American Tobacco responsible for IT Services Strategy, Service Design & Transition, Supplier Management, Global Software Asset Management and IT Process, Risk and Compliance Management. Murari was previously Global Head of IT Security Services for BAT responsible for Enterprise IT Security Management, IT Security Operations , Identity & Access Management . The role included managing business continuity governance over strategic IT outsourced service providers.

Prior to joining BAT, Murari was attached to PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Malaysia where he was the Lead Manager for the Information Assurance and Threat & Vulnerability Management (TVM) group. During his stint in PwC, he delivered and managed numerous Information Security, Business Continuity, Business Process & Systems Assurance and Third Party Assurance Services engagements for clients in various industries including the government sector.

Mr. Sebastian has over 25 years’ experience designing, developing and implementing Business Continuity Plans for various industries including many Fortune 100 and 500 companies. Mr. Sebastian led the development of the Business Continuity Practice within Paranet and then Sprint Corporation resulting in Disaster Recovery Institute’s certification of more than 85 colleagues over a period of five years. Mr. Sebastian’s Business Continuity Planning methodology and framework achieved a best-in-class award from a Fortune 100 corporation. He has extensive experience in leading the design, planning, sourcing and delivery of business continuity programs. Mr. Sebastian is also a management and technology professional with over twenty-five years’ experience in numerous industries including – telecommunications, healthcare, finance, legal, and energy.

Robert Mendoza, aka. “Bobby,” brings 10 years of business continuity management experience. He is currently the Business Continuity Program Manager of Omgeo, a DTCC company where he is responsible for managing the Business Continuity programs of the DTCC in 11 facilities in the Asia Pacific region including the Philippines, India, China, Singapore, HK, and Japan. He likewise drives seamless execution of the company’s Crisis Management framework and departmental Business Continuity Plans. Before Joining DTCC, he was the Administrative Risk Manager of DSM Manila. In his career, he has handled several major natural and man-made incidents like the 2007 Manila Peninsula siege, the 2009 tropical storm Ketsana (Ondoy), the 2011 tsunami in Japan, the 2011 Egyptian revolution and the 2012 Southwest monsoon incident that flooded the Metropolitan Manila and the neighbouring provinces. Robert has a wide range of experience of Environment, Health and safety, Emergency Management and Security operations.

Waleed Al-Dakheel has 20 years of experience in BCM, IT Service Management, Risk Assessment & Analysis, Audit & Compliance, Vendor & Contract Management, and PMO. He also specializes in Business Continuity Planning / Disaster Recovery and Crisis Management. DRI International certified Instructor and Exam Proctor, for Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery for the Middle East & North Africa. Waleed has created in-house BCM standards, developed risk-based business continuity strategies, implemented and tested plans, and conducted training to BCM professionals throughout the region. His work includes a solid track record in incident management in real world situations ranging across in-house incidents, BC planning and developing as well as BCP and DRP simulation exercise. Waleed draws from his professional experience to guide participants through all aspects of a holistic BCM program and to apply these practices for their organizations. He has been teaching for DRI since 2013 in Middle East.

Mr. Villeneuve has a Master’s Degree in Systems Analysis/Business and Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP), Certified Public Sector Continuity Professional (CPSCP) and Certified Business Continuity Lead Auditor (CBCLA) certifications with over thirty years experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, emergency management and information technology.

Mr. Villeneuve is the Director of Education for DRI International (DRI). He has worked as a contingency planner, data center manager, database administrator, computer specialist and university professor. He has developed Business Continuity Plans, Business Impact Analyses, Disaster Recovery Plans and Strategies, Emergency Response Plans, Risk Assessments, and conducted disaster recovery exercises. His experience spans both the private sector and government. He has been a Continuity of Operations (COOP) coordinator and was instrumental on projects implementing information technology/continuity solutions for the Defense Department. In addition to teaching business continuity classes for DRI, he has taught computer science classes as an Associate Professor at colleges and universities.

Mohammed is an ex Military search and rescue pilot, ex-Chief of SAR Coordination Centre. He joined (NCEMA) National Crisis and Emergency Management Authority in 2008 as a Director of Safety and Prevention. Specialized in Quality Management, Black belt six sigma, EFQM Auditor, Certified Business Continuity Professional by DRII as a result of over 10 years in the field side by side with main core. Mohammed is the lead of the Committee which developed and published UAE’s BCM Standard and Guideline (AE/HSC 7000:2012) in 2012. This is the very first BCM Standard in the gulf region.

Mohammed is also the very first BC professional who has just been awarded by DRI International at its recent global conference and awards of excellence for the category of “Best Program Leader of year 2012 for the Public Sector”.
