DRI KL2013

Thank you to those of you who joined DRI International in Malaysia for DRI  KL2013.  As we continue growing throughout Asia, it is encouraging to see certified professionals coming together to share and develop ideas from all over the world.

The conference objective was to discuss emerging treads and issues for ASEAN countries.  DRI KL2013 Committee Chairperson, Carol Chia, reflected on the conference conversation saying, “We were very fortunate to have a large group of speakers in their respective fields participate in our conference. Their involvement resulted in great interaction between the speakers and the attendees, as well as a successful panel of discussions.”

Among the speakers were DRI International’s Al Berman and Chloe Demrovsky.  “I was particularly pleased by the turn out for the Awards of Excellence.  All the finalists were distinguished by their accomplishments.  I would especially like to congratulate the winners of this special honor,” said Demrovsky, Managing Director of Global Operations.

Philippines Fundraising Underway: Foundation Bringing BCP Community Together to Do Good!

“I’d like to thank those of you who have donated so far, and I’d like to encourage the rest of you to join your fellow continuity professionals in supporting the people of the Philippines in their time of need,” said DRI Foundation Chair AnneMarie Staley. “It’s always wonderful to see our community come together, especially around such an important cause. Please give generously to the Foundation’s Typhoon Haiyan-Yolanda Relief Fund in order to help us help those most affected by this terrible tragedy.”

Some two dozen industry professional organizations have already partnered with the foundation to raise awareness of fundraising efforts, and more have pledged their support.

The DRI Foundation is calling all continuity professionals, and their organizations, to donate to Haiyan-Yolanda relief.  There is strength and solidarity in numbers, and by combining donations, the continuity community can send a message of support, help, and hope to those in need.
